  • Your child is struggling with anxiety, fears, or worries that seem overwhelming
  • Your teen is having difficulty with behavior, school performance, or peer relationships

Our Therapy Services

These are the therapy services we provide — tailored to meet your child’s and family’s unique needs.

Anxiety in Children and Teens

Anxiety can show up in so many different ways. Maybe your child avoids school, struggles to speak in certain situations (selective mutism), or experiences intense social anxiety that keeps them from connecting with peers. Whatever form anxiety takes in your child’s life, we can help.

Our therapy approach gently guides children and teens to understand their anxiety, develop tools to manage it, and gradually face their fears in a safe, supportive environment. We work at your child’s pace, helping them build confidence one step at a time.

Who this helps: Children and teens experiencing social anxiety, school avoidance, selective mutism, separation anxiety, or generalized worry.

Child and Teen Therapy

Growing up isn’t easy. From managing big emotions to navigating friendships, school pressures, and family changes, children and teens face a lot. Sometimes they need a safe space to process what they’re experiencing — and that’s where therapy comes in.

In our sessions, we help young people work through emotional regulation challenges, behavioral concerns, grief and loss, family conflict, and major life transitions. Through play therapy for younger children and talk therapy for teens, we create a space where they can explore their feelings, build resilience, and discover their strengths.

Who this helps: Children and teens dealing with emotional struggles, behavioral challenges, school-related stress, family changes, or life transitions.

Parenting Support & Child Behavior Coaching

Parenting can feel isolating, especially when you’re dealing with challenging behaviors or feeling like nothing you try is working. You love your child deeply, but sometimes you need guidance on how to help them — and yourself.

Our parenting support provides you with practical, research-backed strategies to understand your child’s behavior, set healthy boundaries, and respond in ways that strengthen your relationship. Together, we’ll create a plan that fits your family and helps you feel confident in your parenting.

Who this helps: Parents feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to handle their child’s behavior. Parents who want to strengthen their connection with their child while addressing specific challenges.

Our Therapeutic Approaches

We use a variety of evidence-based methods to support your child’s growth, including:

  • Play Therapy — Children express themselves most naturally through play. Play therapy gives younger children a way to process emotions, work through difficult experiences, and build skills in a language they understand.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) — CBT helps children and teens recognize how their thoughts influence their feelings and behaviors, giving them tools to challenge unhelpful thinking patterns.
  • Exposure Therapy for Anxiety — Through gentle, gradual steps, we help children face their fears in a safe and supportive way, building confidence as they go.
  • Parent Training Strategies — We equip parents with practical tools and techniques to support their child’s progress at home and strengthen family dynamics.

How Therapy Works

If this is your first time bringing your child to therapy, you might be wondering what to expect. We get it — starting therapy can feel like a big step.

Your first session will be a chance for us to get to know you and your child. We’ll talk about what’s been happening, what you’re hoping will change, and how we can work together. For younger children, this might involve some play or activities to help them feel comfortable.

In ongoing sessions, we’ll work with your child using age-appropriate approaches. For younger children, that might mean play therapy. For teens, we’ll use talk therapy and skill-building exercises. Throughout the process, we’ll involve you as a parent, providing updates and guidance so you can support your child’s progress at home.

Here’s the most important thing to remember: You don’t have to have all the answers. We’ll walk through this together, one step at a time.
